Pride And Agony
Oh, he that walketh among the pure,
your righteousness and grace were obscure
what has begotten your purity
for thou keepeth hatred in thy heart
and has committed great tyranny
Oh, he that hovered through the morning sky,
flying with great wings full of pride
For thou unto thee they call butterfly
great hymns and songs thou heart glorify
Allure, Allure, he, whose beauty endureth
Deprive, deprive, he, whose grace derideth
What has begotten your humility
For thou showeth great enmity
Oh morning star, full of grace and wisdom
Cruelty has blinded thou eyes
You showeth great repugn to Him that
sitteth on the great mount Sinai.
Hitherto, he who sits on Mount Sinai,
shares power with none.
Full of pride and full of hate
The heavens lay close
And the earth lays bare.
Casteth from the sky
and thou falleth from high
with agony and broken wings,
but with great joy the heavens sing.
Walking among sons and
daughters of men,
ruling with iron fist
and controlling those that seem fit,
The earth trembles and
the heavens rejoice.
